Posted on 03:43 by Unknown

Unfortunate but true..... I will never be able to update this with the video that I intended to.... I had reserved this space for uploading a skit that I had written... unfortunate...  the skit was recorded in one of my colleague's mobile.. and she deleted the same for reasons unknown.... so.... this post will remain without the video...

However, let me write what was the skit about... it was

Redefining Aura - My First Glance of Guruji

Posted on 00:42 by Unknown

Saturday morning was quiet a leisure. Since some of my personal plans took a beating, I decided to do my official work, recruitment. Perhaps, the whole city was in holiday mood; not many turned up for the interview. However, one candidate seemed to be potentially good and that made the difference. With a good mood, I left my office. Having had an expensive lunch at Sahib Singh Sultan (A

Vedas - The Big Picture

Posted on 01:20 by Unknown

ऊं शंथी शंथी शांतही

Vedas form the foundation blocks of Hinduism. It is much talked about outside India. There are many scholars who have come down to India in search of knowledge on the same but very few within India realize its power of knowledge. In fact the true scholars of knowledge never come out in public light. Few orators who have gained a good knowledge like Swami Vivekananda

Art of Living - Basic Course

Posted on 22:55 by Unknown

For over a year I have been thinking of attending the Basic Course developed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. That is because I have been hearing the beauty of the course for a long time. For some reason, I do not like to believe in God men/women. This had made me stay away for this long. Finally, when I decided, I did not get the opportunity until now.

When I went out to attend the course, I

Road Trip: Bangalore - Salem - Thrissur - Kozhikode - Wayanad - Bangalore

Posted on 08:13 by Unknown

Bangalore - Salem - Thrissur - Kozhikode - Wayanad - Bangalore, a trip of 1250Kms was the first wherein I had to drive the whole distance. On 29th of April,12 we started and we returned back on 5th of May'12. This was not a vacation trip, so there is nothing much that I can add to the places visited. But it has been an experience.

I am not those live-to-drive kind of guys, so driving the

Dilema of Twilight

Posted on 08:37 by Unknown
[Tried to translate the lyrics of a Malayalam song 'Pooja Bimbam Mizhi Thurannu' from the movie 'Harikrishnans']O goddess of power, beauty, O divine;comfort my mind, free me of tentacles of pain. The temple doors have opened with you opening your eyes;O mighty! Please help me open my heart to see within.Look at the Sun, look at the Moon, bridegrooms of strength and love standing in your court;O

Cheeram Kulangara Pooram - 2012- Culture - Kerala

Posted on 06:03 by Unknown
It is early morning. I am standing on the road to the Cheeram Kulangara temple. The road is buzzing with people and vehicles are moving shoulder to shoulder over the narrow road. Once a while, I can see big trucks carrying a jumbo. At other times, the jumbos are walking past the road with the pappan (the caretaker of the elephant) with few people sitting on top. It looks chaotic, but people

The Hungry Tide - Amitav Ghosh - Book Review

Posted on 09:31 by Unknown
Generally I do some study before I lay my hands on a book. However, this time, it was different. I neither had any idea of the book nor had I read a single other book written by this author. It was the cover that made me take a look. The rustic coastal canoe on green waters that mirrored the blue sky caught my attention. I should say, the cover is a real well done job. After reading a few lines,

Hands of God

Posted on 23:43 by Unknown
[wrote this poem on my second marriage anniversary after a turmoil filled second year where I and my better half stood shoulder to shoulder supporting each other] The merry venture into the ocean,of a year long without a commotion, made us believe in our rustic notions, that our dreams are jolly potions, soon to come, long to last,
