Cheeram Kulangara Pooram - 2012- Culture - Kerala

It is early morning. I am standing on the road to the Cheeram Kulangara temple. The road is buzzing with people and vehicles are moving shoulder to shoulder over the narrow road. Once a while, I can see big trucks carrying a jumbo. At other times, the jumbos are walking past the road with the pappan (the caretaker of the elephant) with few people sitting on top.
